German artist Albert Oehlen has selected ›Conversations with Cézanne‹ for his edition in the Edition Ex Libris. The book contains all the important statements by Cézanne about his own painting, about Holbein, Veronese, Poussin, Chardin, Delacroix, Courbet and about his companions in Impressionism: Monet, Renoir, Pissarro, Redon, Gauguin. He made these statements to visitors from France and abroad, to painters, poets and critics.
