§ 1 Validity of Terms

Salon Verlag Gerhard Theewen processes your orders on the basis of the following General Terms and Conditions. Only those conditions valid at the time of placing your order take effect. You can download these Terms and Conditions onto your computer or print them out. We do not accept regulations deviating from these provisions unless we have explicitly accepted the validity of such regulations in writing.

§ 2 Contracts of Purchase

The contracts between Salon Verlag Gerhard Theewen and the purchaser are contracts of purchase. All mutual obligations shall arise exclusively from the following provisions. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively unless any agreement has been made to the contrary.

Please read the essential characteristics of our merchandise in the individual product descriptions. The contract takes effect as soon as we receive your order. You can place orders via the Internet, as well as by mail, fax or telephone.

§ 3 Ordering and Prices

1. The prices quoted are inclusive of statutory sales tax.
2. The prices for the delivery of goods including freight and packaging are not included.
3. The shipping charges domestic deliveries are based on a flat rate of 4 Euro; for shipment to other countries, charges are based on standard postal charges.
4. All offers are subject to change without notice.
5. Subject to errors and prior sale!
6. With regard to editions with unique character, the illustrations depicted here are merely examples.

Prior consultation is suggested, since possible deviations in terms of colour and/or motif do not justify a complaint.

§ 4 Delivery Times

Salon Verlag Gerhard Theewen fulfils orders within 30 days from the day following the day of the order. If the goods ordered are not available, the publishing house shall notify you accordingly. In such case, you are entitled to the right to withdraw from the contract of purchase within 30 days after receiving notification and demand repayment of any payment already made.

§ 5 Right of Withdrawal

You are entitled to the right of withdrawal. You have the right to rescind the conclusion of the contract within 14 days without indication of any reason and without charge.

Should the goods be intended neither for your own commercial or freelance professional activity, you also have the right to cancel your order in written form within two weeks of receiving the goods without indication of any reason.

Timely dispatch of revocation or the merchandise shall suffice to meet the revocation deadline.
All cancellations of sale must be made in writing and be submitted to the following address:

If the revocation is made within the allotted period, you are no longer bound to the contract of purchase. We shall reimburse you with the purchase price already paid. The effective exercise of your right of revocation obliges you to return the goods. All costs for return are born by the customer.

If the goods have already been used and show signs of usage, we reserve the right to bill the loss in value and your benefit of the usage of the goods.

§ 6 Invoices

Our invoices are due for payment net cash immediately after receipt of the goods, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Please, note that with new customers the order is activated only after payment has been received.

Durch den rechtzeitigen Widerruf sind Sie nicht mehr an den Vertrag gebunden. Wir erstatten Ihnen den schon gezahlten Kaufpreis zurück. Sie sind zur Rücksendung der Ware verpflichtet. Die Kosten der Rücksendung sind von Ihnen zu tragen.

Wenn die Ware von Ihnen bereits benutzt wurde und Gebrauchsspuren aufweist, behalten wir uns vor, Ihnen den Wert der Nutzung der Ware zu berechnen.

Wir behalten uns zudem vor, eine Wertminderung der Sache abzuziehen, sofern Sie die Verschlechterung, den Untergang oder die Unmöglichkeit der Rückgabe zu vertreten haben.
