Tim Scott (*1937 in Richmond/London) is one of the outstanding sculptors of his generation in England. He received worldwide recognition as early as the 1960s as a protagonist of the "Young Generation", which developed polychrome stereometric objects of sometimes monumental size using new materials. Scott, who taught as a professor at St. Martin's School of Art and the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, influenced several generations of sculptors with his steel sculptures. His works can be found in the Tate Gallery, Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney, Museum of Modern Art New York, Albertinum Dresden, among others. For the first time, the monograph provides an overview of Tim Scott's entire sculptural work and contains the catalog raisonné.
