Thanks to high technology, Tim Berresheim (* 1975) succeeded in a personal and artistic examination of his homeland in the summer of 2021 with the “journey through pictures”. On the art route he developed in the westernmost district of Germany, the Heinsberger Land, parts of his artistic observation and memories of his own past mix with contemporary art, nature and the latest augmented reality and computer technologies. In addition to 14 works of art by Berresheim, the book contains the essay “Krass real present” by the art historian and curator Hans-Jürgen Hafner as well as reproductions, image studies, photographs and an augmented reality folding map.
