In the summer of 1998, the first International Summer School for Fine Art was held at the Bundesakademie für kulturelle Bildung at Wolffenbüttel. The theme for that year was 'body/bodies', with visiting tutor, Marie-Jo Lafontaine (Brussels). The body as representation, medium, sculpture, object. Music, performance, video, photography and sculpture were planned as working media. The book records Marie-Jo Lafontaine's show and the results of the Summer School.
