Was ist die tatsächliche Füllung des Behälters Kopf? Wie sieht ein Gedanke aus? Eine Idee? Wie wird diese verpackt? „0,0 Total" ein neues Künstlerbuch von Antje Dorn beschäftigt sich mit der Frage des Inhalts, der Füllung und der Verpackung derselben. Der erste Teil des Buches zeigt Fotos von Flüssigkeiten, von Cola über Ketchup bis hin zu .Fugendichtung so, daß sie nur schwer bis gar nicht mehr zu identifizieren sind. Sie wirken teilweise ekelhaft, lächerlich oder kurios, obwohl sie eigentlich lecker, harmlos sind. Die Größenverhältnisse verschwimmen, eigentlich unwichtige kleine Dinge wirken monumental und eingefroren. Im zweiten Teil des Buches sieht man das „hinkende Drumherum" dessen, was im ersten Teil abgebildet ist: „getürkte" und frisierte" Behälter von Inhalten: Flaschen! Das äußere Erscheinungsbild der Flaschen wird verändert, die Etiketten kündigen etwas an, wobei der Inhalt nicht genannt wird. Es sind „leere Versprechungen" Fälschungen, die etwas anpreisen, was sie nicht enthalten.
What is really inside the container that is the head? What does a thought look like? An idea? How is an idea packaged? 0,0 total, a new artist's book by Antje Dorn, looks at the issue of content, of filling and its packaging. The first part of the book shows photographs of fluids from Coke and ketchup to grouting, taken such that they can only be identified with difficulty or not at all. They seem now repulsive, now ridiculous or strange although they are in fact tasty or at any rate, innocuous. The sense of scale is thrown overboard, intrinsically insignificant details seeming monumental and frozen. In the second part of the book can be seen the 'attendant clutter' of what is depicted in the preceding section – 'faked' and 'trimmed' containers of contents; bottles! The bottles' outward appearance is altered, the labels commending something without naming the contents. These are 'empty promises', forgeries which advertise something they do not contain.
